Premise:
For the last few years I've been following my dream to travel the world, not only in a touristy way. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced humankind to take a long stop and a hard look at itself. So did I and that irrevocably changed my perspectives. Let me introduce to you my(pre-/during-/post-covid)self.

(BEFORE COVID-19)
In February 2019 I completed my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and obtained a Master's degree in Fashion Design, pursuing Sustainable Fashion projects only. I had two Erasmus experiences, in Romania in 2014 and in Estonia in 2018, and I did lots of group and solo trips in that period.
During my academic journey, I worked fixed-term, part-time or on-call jobs as a Designer, Stylist, Visual Merchandiser, Window dresser and Shop Assistant. I always took a job whenever I had the chance to learn new things and cultures, plus the challenge of meeting key objectives. For the same reasons, the day after my graduation I responded to a call from Germany for a position as a seasonal Visual Merchandiser in a Safari Park and I accepted the new challenge, despite my very little knowledge of German and the country itself. During my stay there, I was also selected as the Supervisor of the house (where I dwelled with 15 multicultural people) for my reliability, my organizational skills in respect of everybody's needs, and my willingness to help ( ... they said 😊 ).
(DURING COVID-19)
Back home, I took lockdowns and travel restrictions as an opportunity to focus on training so I attended short and long professional training courses, while I was doing occasional jobs as a babysitter or remote ADs/AI evaluator. In July 2022 I graduated with honors in Hospitality Management. But I started to observe my present in a different light.
My studies, my past work/life experiences allowed me to acquire a range of hard and soft skills, but for what?
(AFTER COVID-19)
The narrative around the fundamental outlook has changed. No matter what projection my life will follow, location, vocation, or social station... I realized I am fulfilled when I help people to achieve the outcomes that matter to them.
I cherish spending time, assisting and engaging children and the elderly in different activities.
I am a Red Cross volunteer since December 2022 and a Humanitarian Aid Volunteer in European Solidarity Corps since July 2023. Until July 2024, I am volunteering in Uganda for Caritas Kampala under the @hand.humanitarian.aid (Instagram) program.

In conclusion,
I have proved to be a resourceful independent worker and a detail-, goal-oriented team member, using my creativity, initiative and organizational skills to get the job done, while dealing with conflicting demands. I am a quick learner, efficient with my time and I do love check-lists! As an individual, I would describe myself as a decent, open-minded young woman and a born traveler.
I firmly believe that my motivation to improve and my analytic attitude, my innate adaptability and my commitment to help will allow me to fit into any work environment and immediately start supporting the needs of an organization.

Thank you for your attention.
